• Experience real-time VR ray-tracing on The Devil using Autodesk VRED. This is the production technology that the world’s leading companies are investing in •right now• to revolutionize design and manufacturing. This is a can’t-miss, fully immersive demo.
• VFX supervisor Alberto Menache (Justice League, Avatar 2 and Spider-man) will be on hand showing off next-generation entertainment experiences he’s created by streaming real-time Maya content directly into the Unreal engine.
• Chat with freelance artist Andrew Runyon as he gives you an in-depth look at how much your life improves when you harness the raw performance of the Demon to drive Cinema 4D!
• Dimensional Imaging will demonstrate DI4D proprietary “motion scanning” technology which captures 4D data comprising video rate 3D surface scans tracked with a dense fixed topology mesh. The DI4D solution, which does not require any markers, make-up or structured light, provides much higher fidelity facial motion capture data than alternative solutions and ensures that every nuance of an actor’s facial performance is recorded. DI4D will be demonstrating the use of their data in VR for the first time at SIGGRAPH 2017 Booth 342 on the SILVERDRAFT Demon
