How Does a Female CEO in Technology Balance Her Roles | Amy Gile | TEDxBoise

Amy Gile has played many roles in her life. Among them: model, actress, film producer and tech CEO. In this exclusive TEDx Talk she questions the roles and narratives: How do we navigate scripts as we make decisions throughout our lives about who we are and who we want to be? Amy takes us through her journey and struggles that took her from an Elite model to Founder and CEO in the technology company Silverdraft Supercomputing.

She is a Boise native who made her way to New York and Paris for modeling, then to Hollywood as an actress and producer. She developed a fascination with the process of producing great art and entertainment. This fascination, combined with a latent talent for technology, led her to create a company that builds breakthrough tools for visual creativity that are changing the way things get made. Through her journey, she has developed deep insights into the dynamics of being a powerful female in male-dominated industries.

Amy Gile is the currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Silverdraft Supercomputing, the leading builder of computing platforms for creative arts, graphics, and design. This talk was given at a TEDx event in Boise, ID using the TED conference format.
